About the Speaker: |
Mr. John CW Wong– Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited Singapore John is the Tax Partner and China & Hong Kong Leader in Private Client Services. He has nearly 30 years of experience specializing in helping high net-worth individuals and families primarily based in Asia Pacific with Chinese and other nationalities to devise tailor-made tax planning, family wealth and business succession planning to achieve the specific personal and family goals of such clients by using trusts, insurance and other appropriate structures for the implementation of such planning as well as family corporate governance. He has extensive experience in advising professional bank and non-bank trustees on trust matters and provide training to them on wealth and tax planning. He is also a frequent speaker at wealth forums and tax seminars. |

Mr. Ashley Ong – Executive Director, Lion Trust (Singapore) Limited Ashley Ong is currently the executive director of Lion Trust (Singapore) Limited, an independent trust company in Singapore. Prior to joining Lion Trust, Ashley spent 12 years with both HSBC Trustee (Singapore) Limited / HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited. In total Ashley has about 20 years of experience in the trust industry advising both corporate and individual clients on trust solutions. Ashley obtained his first degree majoring in Banking and Finance from Monash University, Australia and Masters of Business Administration from National University of Singapore. |
